As far as Team India is concerned, the Indian dressing room is packed with experienced players, thanks to their T20 experience in the IPL.

Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dube will join the squad after two matches, as they were scheduled for the World Cup.

Regarding the Zimbabwe team, Bennet and T. Marumani are the openers. Marumani is primarily a batter, while Bennet may play an all-round role, including off-break bowling. I. Kaia is a recognized batsman, having scored a century against India. Additionally, S. Raza, the captain of Zimbabwe, has the ability to bat well and is also a recognized all-rounder.

Luke Jongwe is a recognized right-arm fast-medium bowler, having taken 55 wickets in 65 matches with an average of 21.4. He may take a couple of breakthroughs for Zimbabwe.

Richard Ngarava is also a left-arm fast-medium bowler, having taken 51 wickets in 51 matches with an average of 21.09, which is quite impressive. In T20 matches, he is also expected to take wickets, especially on Zimbabwe’s home ground.

Abhishek Sharma has been in good form recently and performed well in the IPL. He has a good chance to open with Shubman Gill. Ruturaj Gaikwad, with his experience batting at number three, is likely to follow in the lineup.

Riyan Parag is finally expecting to earn the blue cap of India. He has shown good form in the IPL, scoring 384 runs in 14 innings with an average of 52.09 and a strike rate of 149.

As a wicketkeeper, Dhruv Jurel is a good option to accompany Shubman Gill. He possesses good skills both behind the stumps and with the bat. He is getting a chance to prove himself among other options available for India in the upcoming T20 matches and Champions Trophy as well.

India has good bowling options like Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Tushar Deshpande, Ravi Bishnoi, and Washington Sundar, along with capable all-rounders.
